Identify and define the key patient groups who can benefit from the product and for whom it is clinically indicated, creating detailed profiles and personas where appropriate. When healthcare practitioners clearly recognise which patients the product is suited for, they are far more likely to consider prescribing or recommending it. If the intended patient profile is unclear, the product is unlikely to be selected in practice.
