1. Contribution Terms and Conditions

We have developed this platform gathering a wealth of information on expectations of the performance of a pharmaceutical and medical representative in consultation with industry role-players. Research conducted included input from general practitioners, specialists, pharmacists, nurses, sales managers, managing directors, marketing managers, brand and product managers, regulatory authorities, market access experts, training managers, assessment experts and representatives in various roles including medical devices, OTC (over the counter) and detailing.

The input from these stakeholders enabled us to offer the most relevant up to date and accurate assessment tools to support representatives in their competency development efforts.  Other than input from healthcare industry stakeholders we have included review aspects from international performance requirements from Australia, India, Kenya and the United Kingdom on healthcare representatives competency requirements.

All ExpertRep developers have signed the ExpertRep Code of Conduct and have thereby demonstrated their commitment to the ExpertRep values.  ExpertRep is committed to excellence and has stringent measures and quality assurance processes in place to offer the healthcare industry credible, accurate, relevant and up-to-date assessment instruments.  All questions are developed by subject matter experts, reviewed internally and then externally by our team of Technical Advisers.  Should you feel that assessment instruments are not fair, valid and reliable, you are welcome to Contact us.

2. Appeals procedure

In the event of a disagreement with the assessment result obtained, you may appeal the outcome in writing to info@expertrep.co.za within 7 (seven) working days of having received the result. The following minimum information is required:

  1. Name and surname
  2. Reason for appeal
  3. Suggestion to treat the application
  4. Where possible evidence of the reason for appeal

An ExpertRep representative will confirm receipt of the appeal in writing. The General Manager and at least one Technical Adviser will review the appeal and make a decision to implement one or more of the following solutions:

(i) award the badge

(ii) amend the assessment instrument

(iii) award an oral interview on the same topic

(iv) award a re-assessment opportunity

The decision of the General Manager is final.

3. Payment and funds terms and conditions

All money paid into the ExpertRep account is non-refundable. Any written requests for refunds will be reviewed and may be approved at the sole discretion of the ExpertRep General Manager.  ExpertRep takes no responsibility of performance or non-performance of end-users on the ExpertRep assessment platform.

Access to assessment tools is granted within 48 hours of the receipt of proof of payment from the client or confirmation from the ExpertRep bank directly.  Unless otherwise agreed in writing, no access will be granted prior to payment received.

In the event of non-payment, ExpertRep reserves the right to cease access to the assessment platform with immediate effect.

3. Agreement

The absence of a written contract aims to reduce the risk and administrative burden associated with contracts.  There is no promised commitment from the client as per a traditional written contract. The mutually beneficial agreement is the understanding that assessment instruments are made available to representatives and other team members for which payment has been received. The price per user is stated on the website and request for payment is effected once the registration form has been completed and submitted.

A discounted rate applies for longer access durations.
